My main role is Practice Manager, but I am a trained dental assistant, patient and financial coordinator and quite often maintenance technician. However, my favorite role is helping to transform people’s smiles and lives. In my spare time (which isn’t much) I enjoy my children and grandchildren, as well as farm life, baking, organizing and traveling.
My name is Kristi. I was born and raised most of my life in Fargo. My husband, Shaun, and I have 3 children, 1 daughter-in-law, 3 grandchildren and 1 red lab named Bailey. I was a stay home mom and grandma until I started working at Designer Smiles as a Patient Coordinator in 2023. I couldn’t be happier to be part of this team! In my free time I enjoy going to concerts, traveling, spending time with friends and family and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.
Hi! My name is Cassie (a.k.a. Casserole to some). I have been a Patient Coordinator here at Designer Smiles for 6 years. Wow, I cannot believe it has been that long! I was born and raised here in Fargo. I graduated from MState with a degree in Medical Coding & Insurance, which I have a love/hate relationship with. I am married with 6 children (4 boys and 2 girls). We have a 4-year-old chocolate lab who is a 65-pound lapdog and an absolute momma’s girl. I love fishing, reading, doing puzzles, plants and spending time with family. My dream is to one day have a farm with many farm animals!

I was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica. I moved to North Dakota 7 years ago. I have been working in dentistry for 4 years. I am a registered dental assistant. I obtained my CDA through DANB, and I hold my sealant and nitrous oxide certifications with NDSCS. I enjoy working with a variety of digital and 3D dental technologies. I am currently a student in the Dental Hygiene program at Minnesota State Community and Technical College, and I love working at Designer Smiles because of my great co-workers and the patients I serve. I am married and have a lovely Chocolate Labrador named Charlie. In my free time, I enjoy taking long walks with my husband and Charlie, fishing, traveling, watching horror movies, or going out to eat at Plaza Azteca or El Agave with my two best friends.
I’m Michelle Urbano, and here are a few things about me. I was born and raised in a small town in MN. I am the oldest of 4 and since my parents are divorced, my role as a big sister really kicks in. I enjoy the outdoors although I can be more of a homebody. I have started to enjoy reading, and I also enjoy self-care and being able to escape from reality a bit. But most of all, one of my favorite things in life is spending quality time with my family. Now, let’s talk about dental. I grew up being the kid who loved going to the dentist. I went to school at NDSCS and completed the Dental Assistant program. I started working right away after graduating and 4 years later, I am still here. I love my job, I love what I do, and I wouldn’t change a thing. I thank Designer Smiles for accepting me into their work family and allowing me to grow each day with them.
I am a Registered Dental Assistant here at Designer Smiles. I grew up in Roseau, MN. In 2017, I graduated from M State with a degree in Dental Assisting. My favorite part of my job is creating relationships with patients and helping patients transform their smile. I have also taken pride in continuing my education to use my skill set to the fullest. My husband and I have a house in Moorhead, MN. We have a cat named Elly, who is very spoiled. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, golfing, traveling and cooking.
I’m Allison, I graduated from Minnesota Technical College and Metropolitan State University. I pride myself on my gentle approach and dedication to educating patients about oral health. I love helping individuals achieve confidence in their smile through personalized care and advanced hygiene techniques. Outside the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors and cooking with my husband.
Nancy grew up in small town ND before she found her way to Fargo in 2010. After graduating from the M State dental hygiene program in 2013, she earned her Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Nancy enjoys building relationships with patients and discussing the science of the mouth. Nancy’s son is very active in high school sports and activities. She enjoys watching and cheering for him during the soccer and track season. She also loves lazy afternoons with their cat Nalu. When she is not enjoying her son’s activities, Nancy enjoys nature; whether it’s traveling, hiking, concerts, sports, or tending her backyard garden, she enjoys the outdoors.
I have been helping people improve their smiles for 34 years, with 30 of those years being a Dental Hygienist. I love to see how improving someone’s smile and oral health can help improve how they feel and their overall health. Getting to know my patients and their families is also a highlight of my day. I am married and have two grown sons that I am lucky enough to see often, along with 2 dogs and 2 cats. I enjoy spending time with family, going to the lake and relaxing and reading all the time.
