Our Sedation Dentistry Services

Oral & IV Conscious Sedation

Oral conscious sedation is commonly used in sedation dentistry to induce a state of deep relaxation. Triazolam is a small pill that is a safe, quick-acting sedative with virtually no side effects other than some occasional drowsiness. You will be instructed to take the pill shortly before your dental appointment.

IV sedation involves delivering a carefully measured sedative through a small IV line, typically placed in your arm or hand. It starts working quickly and allows us to adjust the level of sedation in real time, so you stay relaxed and comfortable throughout your appointment.

Numbing Anesthetics

Local anesthetics can be very effective for reducing pain. The most commonly used is lidocaine, which lasts in the body for about 1.5–2 hours.

Laughing Gas Treatment

Laughing gas is efficiently administered through a fitted mask placed over the nose. To ensure that there are no lingering effects, you’ll be given oxygen for a brief period of time at the end of your appointment.

NuCalm

NuCalm is a reliable, non-narcotic way for us to induce an intense state of relaxation.
